Dr. Bart Defrancq, Professor of Translation, Interpreting and Communication at Ghent University and President of CIUTI, specializes in interpreting studies, corpus linguistics, and the integration of AI in interpreting. In this year’s keynote, titled “AI and Interpreting: Tech Seeping in through Supply Gaps,” he will explore how technological developments are filling gaps in interpreting services — a timely topic in the age of AI.
