📣 Mark your calendar! The 29th International Symposium on Translation and Interpretation Teaching will be held on June 21, featuring two keynote speeches — learn more about our first speaker: Dr. Bart Defrancq!





Dr. Bart Defrancq, Professor of Translation, Interpreting and Communication at Ghent University and President of CIUTI, specializes in interpreting studies, corpus linguistics, and the integration of AI in interpreting. In this year’s keynote, titled “AI and Interpreting: Tech Seeping in through Supply Gaps,” he will explore how technological developments are filling gaps in interpreting services — a timely topic in the age of AI. We warmly welcome all professionals, educators, students and anyone interested in interpreting and translation to join us!
